Caroline was born and raised in West Des Moines, Iowa. As a first generation college student, Caroline received her Bachelors of Arts in Criminology, Law and Justice at the University of Iowa. She then went on to Creighton University School of Law, where she was a dual degree student earning her JD and Masters in Government Organization and Leadership.
While in law school, Caroline clerked for the Honorable Vernon Daniels of the Douglas County Juvenile Court. It was there where her passion for family law flourished. Caroline also spent 6 months interning with the United States Department of Defense Military Commissions where she worked for the defense team of a Guantanamo Bay detainee. She also dedicated considerable time to service and graduated with Pro Bono Distinction.
When she isn’t practicing law, she is cheering on the Nuggets or enjoying time with her fiancé and two golden retrievers, Hank and Rosie.
