Sebastian P. Melo-Ortiz is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience advocating for his clients’ rights in insurance defense, toxic tort, commercial litigation, and family law matters.
Sebastian earned a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law in New York City, where he served as the Notes & Articles Editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, he participated in the Federal Litigation Clinic, representing incarcerated clients charged with federal crimes, and had the distinct honor of clerking for Judge Peter Charleton of the High Court of Ireland.
Prior to attending law school, Sebastian received a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. While earning this degree, he worked as a paralegal for a fast-paced boutique litigation firm, sparking his love for the law.
Sebastian was born in Poland, raised in New York City, and recently moved to Colorado with his wife and two cats, Puck and Elle. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and exploring the beauty of Colorado!
