Robert D. Perrone is an accomplished attorney with an accomplished track record for winning complex civil litigation. Robert is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Illinois and is currently leading the opening of the new office in Chicago. Prior to joining JLG, he honed his trial skills with one of Chicago’s largest law firms.
He graduated from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois (Bachelors of Business, Marketing) and received a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Northern Illinois University, where he sat on the board as the Master of the Bench for the law school Mock Trial committee.
Robert devoted time in law school to volunteering at the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic where he appeared before judges represented clients who were involved in various legal matters ranging from family law to criminal law.
Prior to attending law school, Robert worked as a paralegal for five years at one of Chicago’s largest law firms, where he drafted legal documents and conducted in-depth legal research and analysis in anticipation of litigation. Robert worked on several high-profile cases, including one with a $2 billion favorable outcome for his firm's client. This success affirmed Robert’s passion for the law and influenced his decision to attend law school.
For Robert, there are no typical days at Johnson Law Group. He is particularly satisfied when advocating for his clients to ensure his cases have the best possible outcome.
“Helping people who do not see other options is rewarding. Clients are often concerned about future unknowns, whether it be financial or concerning parental rights. When I’m assigned a case, I am determined to assist in any way necessary to ensure the best possible outcome for my client and their family as a whole,” Robert said.
When not in the office, Robert has volunteered both his athletic coaching and legal skills. Robert has coached youth baseball and also volunteered his legal expertise through Pro-bono client representation.
In his free time, Robert enjoys attending sporting events and concerts. He also enjoys spending time with his Fiancé, Edith, and their two dogs: Shiloh and Mago.
